What kind of wand does your character possess? 9 1/4" willow, with unicorn hair

Does your character own a broom? Which brand? None

Does your character have any special abilities? (Natural flier or good at potions, for example {Please note that Animagi and Metamorphmagi are rare, and you MUST have mod permission for these) His magical strength lies in Charms, and also enjoys DADA although he is better at charms. Personality-wise, he is timid and withdrawn, but can become outspoken and passionate about issues he feels strongly about, and will study and fight for these issues to no end. Generally, he is trusting and polite to just about everyone, and only through continuous provocation will he ever get angry; most of the time if he is teased, he just sits there and stews.

Describe your character's flaws and magical weaknesses (if you have a strong magical ability you must counteract it with a magical weakness equal or greater than the talent): He doesn't do so well in divination, because he thinks it's "stupid." Also, he hates Care of Magical Creatures, because, although he's too ashamed to admit it, is squicked or spooked by the creatures. Personality-wise, he tends to get flustered easily in social situations or when caught in an embarrassing moment. When he deems a rule trivial or unfair, he passively rebels which results in the occasional Howler from his father.

Describe your character's physical attributes: Timothy is a little tall for his age, measuring around 5'9", but thin and lanky for his height. He has straight, thin dark brown hair that hangs slightly below his shoulders and deep brown eyes that match his hair color.

Is your character Muggle born, a half breed, half-blood, or a pureblood? Explain it. (Half-breeds should be rare and will only be given out with permission from the Mods.) Half-blood, with pureblood father and muggle mother.

Character Background/History: Timothy was born to an upper middle class family in London, and resides there with his parents and two older sisters when not at Hogwarts. He resents his father, Timothy, Sr., whose authoritarian and strict control over the family clashes with his son's more free, individualistic nature. Likewise, Mr. Ashford seems to hold a bit of a grudge towards Timothy for not living up to his expectations, and deems him a "hippie." Despite the tension between father and son, when worse comes to worse, the members of the family will stick up for each other. Since Timothy is a huge mama's boy, he takes any advice she gives him to heart and gets defensive if she is insulted.
