Suggestions on the uses of namespaces

This wiki comes with several default namespaces such as Main, Talk, User, Nomicapolis (Project), Image, as well as others. I would like to suggest the following customs for using each namespace.

  • Main- This namespace would be used for official game actions and objects, such as rules, proposals and judgments.
  • Main talk- This namespace would serve as the place for debate as well as voting for each proposal. It would also include antedotes and links to other pages of similar nature.
  • Nomicapolis (Project)- This namespace would be for topics ranged outside of the game itself, but still related to the wiki.
  • User- This namespace would be a metaphor for private property. Users (i.e. players) should not edit other user's pages, unless invited to do so. This is their home.
  • User talk- This would be the primary means of communicating between users.

Rules and proposal header boxes

I have created a set of header boxes for rules and proposals. They can be viewed on this page.

Transclusion in current ruleset?

I'm wondering if it wouldn't make more sense to use transclusion on the Current ruleset page rather than copying and pasting each new rule there; I noticed at least one case where the text on the Current ruleset page didn't match the text on the actual rule (which happened only after I proposed an amendment to make the rule actually make sense, and later realized that the official form of the rule did make sense but the version in the listing of rules was garbled), and in any case it would be easier. As an example of how this would work, I redid the horribly out of date All rules page using this technique. Wooble 14:40, 10 May 2007 (EDT)
