A student of history at McGill University, Sean Hayward has been involved with the Debating Union since his freshman year in 2006. Born in Fredericton, New Brunswick, Sean moved with his family to Ontario at a young age. Throughout his early academic career he actively participated in extracurricular activities, and placed little emphasis on scholarly pursuits. It would be premature to suggest his academic future. Sean is currently the Chair of Publicity, and has recently updated the long-defunct Debating Union website.
