Costa Moscada

Costa Moscada is a comarca of Mar de Cristal, located in the southwest part of the country.

Extending from the western tip of the Newfoundland Peninsula between the Río de La Luz and the Atlantic Ocean, it is bounded to the north by San Gabriel and Nueva Valladolid, to the east by Valenzuela, and to the west by the Distrito Federal.

The capital is Miraflores; other large cities include San Diego, Elche, Alarcón and Hellín. It is divided into eighteen prefecturas and equivalents; see List of prefecturas in Costa Moscada.

Its area is 14,517.6 sq.km. and its population is 4,757,365.
