yea seriously  ..super ball suck on these prcoietidns  the brewers win the wild card over the braves?? dude .cmon guy. the braves still may win the East for crying out loud. there is SO MUCH pressure on Philly this year. As soon as Lee goes down for half the season with an elbow injury, and Roy Oswalt starts looking like a #4 starter they are right back where they were last season. Behind the Braves for two thirds of the season. Phillies have a great shot .but so do the Bravos

Hey Bry, I was thinking the same thing about the Cards nenideg to play an extra game benefiting the Phils, but I don't think it would have meant much. I do think it would have been important if Jaime Garcia was in line to start tonight, but he pitched Monday and wouldn't have been available. Lohse would have pitched tonight.  It would have resulted in a need to rearrange the order of SPs, but the same guys would be going. If they played tonight, I think the order would definitely have been:1  Garcia, 2  Westbrook, 3  Carpenter, 4   Lohse, 5  Garcia.     Instead, it'll be:1/2  Garcia/Lohse either order, 3  Carpenter, 4  Westbrook, 5  Garcia. This all assumes no one is pitching on 3 days rest and the Cards see Garcia as the Phillies biggest challenge (which I do)
