Crossbill is a scarce bird in London, most often seen when there are national influxes from the continent. It occasionally breeds following these irruptions.

  • July 24: Broxbourne Woods, 1 at west end of Cowheath Wood at 10.15
  • July 23: Broxbourne Woods, eight feeding by the ride through Cowheath Wood, but flew south at 10:15
