Brent Res Autumn Birdcount 26 August
Join us at Brent Res anytime during the day to count the migrants. Call in at the hide, access by the bridge at Cool Oak Lane, NW9 for information on the day and to find out what's been seen. We keep a day tally of all species and search the area to count all summer migrants. (NB. date not as in LNHS programme).
LNHS Indoor Meeting 5 September
Identifying Terns by David Darrell-Lambert. Doors open at 18.00, starts at 18.30. Kings Cross Methodist Church, Crestfield St WC1, opposite Kings Cross station. Tea, coffee & cakes available.
LNHS Field Trip 9 September
River Thames for Tern Identification. Meet at Purfleet Station (train from Fenchurch Street Station). Must book with leader, David Darrell-Lambert (07977 407550)
LNHS Field Trip 16 September
Bedfords Park, led by Colin Jupp. Meet at 09.30 at bus stop on Lower Bedfords Road (train from Liverpool Street Station to Romford then 499 bus). Cafe on site or bring lunch.
LNHS Field Trip 17 September
Stoke Newington Res, led by Garry James. Meet at 09.30 at West Reservoir Centre, Green Lanes (nearest tube Manor House, Piccadilly Line). Cafe nearby.
