Herts Bird Club/BTO Conference - Hertfordshire's Breeding Birds
This year's Herts Bird Club/BTO Conference takes place at Rothamsted Research, Harpenden on 15th March with the theme, "Hertfordshire's Breeding Birds". Talks this year:- The Pits - 20 years counting breeding birds in the Lee Valley - Graham White. The Numbers Game: Participatory Science at the RSPB - Mark Eaton. Winners and Losers - 100 years of Hertfordshire's breeding birds - Ken Smith. Buzzards, Yellowhammers and Swallows: The National Bird Atlas - Graham Appleton. The Hertfordshire Bird Atlas - the story so far - Chris Dee.
Tickets £7 or £5 for concessions

LNHS Indoor Meeting: 'Birds of Northern and Eastern Australia' by Andrew Self.
Venue: The Small Chapel, Kings Cross Methodist Church, Crestfield Street, London WC1. This is located directly opposite King’s Cross Main Line Station, down Crestfield Street about 30 metres on the left. There are facilities for making tea and coffee. Doors open from 18.00, AGM at 18.30 followed by the talk.
