LA MIA PRIMA MARATONA Ebbene si, un sogno diventato realtà! Nonostante le mie 9 partecipazioni al Tour de France,belstaff jackets for men, 5 Giri d'Italia, Vuelta, Mondiali, Olimpiadi varie, all'alba dei 41 anni, Ieri per la prima volta ho preso il via in quella che tutti i praticanti di ciclismo considerano la gran fondo per eccellenza: La Maratona Dles Dolomites.Una vera e propria festa da condividere con gli altri membri del Team Sportful, insieme a tutti i ?9mila partecipanti alla manifestazione, e un' occasione unica per ripercorrere le strade che a distanza di un decennio hanno riempito di tanta fatica e acido lattico le mie gambe, e di tante emozioni il mio cuore.Anche ieri però le emozioni non sono state meno. Gia dai momenti che precedono la partenza in griglia, ho avuto una bellissima sorpresa: Miguelon! Dopo tanti anni e qualche chilogrammo in più ci ritroviamo insieme fianco a fianco a pedalare sulle nostre biciclette. L'ultima volta che entrambi eravamo su di una bicicletta insieme in una gara, risale al settembre 1996: Vuelta di Spagna, la tappa de Los Lagos de Covadonga. Quel giorno fu il giorno in cui Miguel Indurain mise il piede a terra e si ritirò dalla Vuelta, ma non solo: quel giorno fu l'ultimo suo giorno in una gara di ciclismo: decise di mettere fine alla sua fantastica carriera. Da allora ci siamo ritrovati in qualche cerimonia, o con le gambe sotto il tavolo, ma rivederlo su di una bici con il numero attaccato alla schiena pedalando al mio fianco mi ha fatto un certo effetto! Che campione!Le emozioni sono continuate lungo tutto il percorso. Nemmeno per un istante ieri, lungo tutti i 106 Km del percorso medio ho avuto modo di annoiarmi. Il mio sguardo era in continuo movimento nell'ammirare lo stupendo paesaggio che le Dolomiti sanno offrire. Salire per il Pordoi ? quando i primi raggi del sole illuminano le montagne che ci circondano e al tempo stesso le schiene e le spalle ondeggianti di chi cerca di arrancare sui tornanti del passo per arrivare a scollinare, è unico!Passano i chilometri ed eccomi sulle rampe del Passo Sella, e altre emozioni ritornano: sono passati esattamente 7 anni dal mio ultimo Giro d'Italia,belstaff h racer jacket, quando scandivo il ritmo ?sul Passo Sella e sul Passo Gardena insieme ai miei compagni della CSC per difendere la maglia rosa che Ivan Basso indossava quel giorno. Ripercorrendo ieri le stesse due salite, tutti i ricordi hanno invaso la mia mente come se solo pochi giorni fossero passati da quella tappa. Salendo per ?gli ultimi tornanti del Gardena, ?nella mia memoria rivedevo quelle curve piene di tifosi colorati e urlanti che ci incitavano. Ieri i tifosi a bordo strada erano sostituiti da un serpentone di ciclisti che ricopriva tutta la striscia d'asfalto fino in cima alla salita.Dopo poco eccomi di nuovo a Corvara per il primo passaggio sotto l'arrivo. Si risale di nuovo il Campolongo,official belstaff jackets, ma poi non si gira più a destra per il Pordoi, ma si va a sinistra direzione Passo Falzarego. Con il passare delle ore, anche la temperatura aumenta e ora sul Falzarego fa decisamente molto caldo. Se durante la mia carriera da professionista ero solito portare le borracce per i miei vari capitani, anche ora in “pensione” riesco a gestire al meglio questo compito: la persona a cui faccio assistenza oggi non è più il mio capitano, ma la mia compagna che accompagno in questa gara. Ad ogni rifornimento faccio scorta di borracce che infilo anche ?nel ?collo per poi darle a lei, visto che beve come una spugna.Dopo il Falzarego arrivo in fretta in cima al Valparola, da qui una lunga picchiata di nuovo su La Villa, per poi in breve tempo ritrovarmi a Corvara alla fine di questa bellissima gara.
