Third episode of Loonatics Unleashed

Plot

A serious attack on Acmetropolis is being perpetrated by felons who work in shadows. Meanwhile, Duck wants a super hero cape but can't order it due to bad cell phone reseption, Tech makes a bet with Duck that he can't use any electronic devices (weapons, cell phones, MP3 players). If Duck wins, Tech will buy him the cape, but if Tech wins, he keeps it and Duck pays for the cape. Zadavia alerts the Loonatics about the shadows, their being lead by a woman named Black Velvet (who Ace and Slam seem to think is hot). The Loonatics catch up to her ship, Black Velvet uses her shadows to capture Tech. She wants Tech to build a machine called the "Shroudcaster". Tech denies helping her, Velvet brainwashes Tech into building it. Duck stops the hold on his mind using his cell phone's ringtone, the Loonatics stop the device, but Black Velvet disappears. Later, Tech gets the cape Duck wanted telling Duck that their sending the bill, since Duck lost the bet by using his phone.

• Lexi showed signs of jealousy when Ace said Black Velvet was hot.
• Black Velvet has similer powers of Nightengale, from "Static Shock".
