Wandsworth Common 2006

Wandsworth Common is my nearest open space. My house overlooks it, it's one of my regular running routes and I (reasonably) frequently walk though it. Since I don't have that much time for birding it's the closest thing I have to a proper local patch, although it tends to get done without bins or scope.

My 2006 list was 49 species:

Mute Swan, Greylag, Canada Goose, Mallard, Shoveler, Pochard, Tufted Duck, Cormorant, Grey Heron, Sparrowhawk, Kestrel, Moorhen, Coot, Black-headed Gull, Common Gull, LBB Gull, Herring Gull, GBB Gull, Feral Pigeon, Woodpigeon, Collard Dove, Ring-necked Parakeet, Swift, Great Spotted Woodpecker, Swallow, House Martin, Pied Wagtail, Wren, Dunnock, Robin, Blackbird, Song Thrush, Mistle Thrush, Blackcap, Whitethroat, Chiffchaff, Willow Warbler, Long-tailed Tit, Blue Tit, Great Tit, Jay, Magpie, Crow, Starling, House Sparrow, Chaffinch, Greenfinch, Goldfinch, Linnet.
