- Crossness: male Dartford Warbler in low weeds in southwest corner of construction compound and viewable from adjacent fields; 1 Wheatear and 1 Whinchat in paddocks, 8 Sand Martins and 4 Swallows through, 3 Black-tailed Godwits, 2 adult Yellow-legged Gulls, 35+ Common Terns, 2 Common Sandpipers, 5 Redshanks, 150+ Teal (John Archer, Ian Miller & Kev Jarvis).
- Euston: Swift over 12:50hrs (Des McKenzie).
- Alexandra Park: 2 Spotted Flycatchers, Willow warbler, 2 Chiffchaff, Whitethroat, 10+ Blackcap Cricket Scrub (Bob Watts); Tree Pipit, Garden Warbler (John Murray); 3+ Spotted Flycatchers, Garden Warbler [Cricket Scrub], 6+ Sand Martins, 18+ House Martins [Wood Green Res], c13:30 (David Callahan).
- Brent Reservoir: 1 Black-necked Grebe; 3 Lapwing, 1 Dunlin, 2 Green Sandpiper, 1 Common Sandpiper, 3 Swift, a few Sand Martin, 1 Swallow, c.30 House Martin (Andrew Haynes and Andrew Verrall)
- Springfield Park (Hackney): immature / female Common Redstart (in triangle of trees immediately south of the house on the northern perimeter, staying mainly in the Oak), 3 Spotted Flycatchers, Willow Warbler, Chiffchaff, c25 Chaffinches, 3 Coal Tits, 5 Goldcrests (Mark Pearson Hackney Wildlife).
- Stoke Newington Reservoirs: Willow Warbler, Chiffchaff, Common Tern, 35 Shoveler, new Common Pochard brood, 10 Sand Martins, 25 House Martins (Mark Pearson & Tony Butler)
- Fulham 8am: Sparrowhawk hunting, Gadwall flying upriver (1st of the winter here), Yellow Legged Gull (Michael F).
- Tower Hamlets Cemetery: Chiffchaff Chestnut Glade with tit flock (Bob Watts).
- Tyttenhanger GP's: Common Sandpiper, 3 Little Grebe, Common Gull, 4 Common Tern, Little Owl, Hobby (Steve Blake)
- Willows Farm Pool: Little Ringed Plover (juv), 7 Yellow Wagtail, 15 Swallow (Steve B)
- Totteridge Valley: 1 Spotted Flycatcher, sev Blackcaps and Chiffchaffs: 1 Ringlet (first for site) (John Colmans)

- Wanstead Flats: 1 Tree Pipit, 5 Whitethroat, 1 Blackcap, 1 Spotted Flycatcher, 1 imm/fem Redstart, 2 Whinchat (S. Fisher)
- Brent Res.: 3 Green Sand, 1 Common Sand, 3 Lapwing, 1 Dunlin, 1 Wigeon, 25+ Common Terns, 20+ House Martin, 4 Blackcap, 2 Lesser Whitethroat, 12+ Chiffchaff, 1 ad. male Common Redstart (50m before hide) (Roy Beddard); 1 Little Egret (Brent Birders).
- Alexandra Park: Spotted Flycatcher, Garden Warbler, Whitethroat, Blackcap, Chiffchaff (Cricket Scrub); 2 House Martin (Reservoir); 20 Mistle Thrush (Pitch and Putt) (James Palmer); Spot Fly, Lesser Whitethroat, 3 Willow Warblers, 10+ Chiffchaffs, 5+ Blackcaps, 2 Jackdaws (over N) (David Callahan). 2 Sand Martin south over scrub, late evening (J.Murray).
- Hampstead Heath: 1 Whinchat on fenced off area on Parliament Hill, 1 Treecreeper, 2 Goldcrest, Chiffchaff and Blackcap in with tit flock, 4 GSW, 1 Green Woodpecker, group of 20 Mistle Thrush, 1 Grey Heron, 5 Egyptian Geese on Boating pond, 1 Collared Dove over, 1 Common Tern over, 1 Jay (Reuben Braddock)
- Ingrebourne Valley: 2 possibly 3 Pied Flycatchers. 2 from viewing area, 1 near burnt area. Also 1 Garden Warbler & 22 Blackcaps in a single bush ! ( Steve Smith per V H-F ).
- Cowley: 1 Hobby dashed overhead, perched briefly (over my house). (Roger Dewey)
- Little Britain:3 Sand Martins, 2 Chaffinch,2 Chiffchaff,2 Grey Wagtails,3 Gt S Woodpeckers,2 Heron,1pr M Swans & 5Juv,2 Egyptian Geese flew down,1 Dunnock,small flock L T Tits along with Blue & Gt Tits,2 Wren,1 Cormorant,20+ Canada Geese flew in.(Sue Giddens) 1 Kingfisher - p.m. (Roger Dewey)

- Hammersmith Furnival Gardens: 2 hatchlings at Moorhen nest in tyre (Nathalie Mahieu).
- Margravine Cemetery: 12 Woodpigeons inc 4 juvs, pair Peregrine on Hospital (female with very full crop) (Nathalie Mahieu).
- Abney Park Cemetery: Garden Warbler, Common Whitethroat, 2 Blackcaps, 3 Willow Warblers, 2 Chiffchaffs, 3 Coal Tits, unstreaked Acro briefly; all in the flycatcher patch by the chapel (Mark Pearson Hackney Wildlife).
- Dagenham Chase LNR: Hobby over at 4.40pm, small numbers of common Warblers. ( V.Halley-Frame ).
- Hampton Court Park: 5 Wheatear, 40 Swallow, 17 House Martin, 6 Sand Martin, 2 Blackcap, 3 Chiffchaff (Andrew Skotnicki).
- Tower Hamlets Cemetery: Willow Warbler High Glade with tit flock (Bob Watts).
Tuesday 1st September.
- London Wetland Centre: 48 Gadwall, 2 Garganey, 45 Shoveler, Sparrowhawk, Kestrel, 41 Lapwing, 5 Sand Martin, 9 Chiffchaff, Willow Warbler (LWC website).
- Rainham Marshes: 3 Wigeon, 2 Great Crested Grebe, 2 Sparrowhawk, 2 Hobby, 4 Black-tailed Godwit, 4 Green Sandpiper, 2 Common Whitethroat, 2 Lesser Whitethroat, Garden Warbler, 6 Blackcap, 6 Chiffchaff, 2 Willow Warbler, 2 Spotted Flycatcher, Pied Flycatcher, 16 Long-tailed Tit (ELBF).
- Beddington SF: Little Egret, Hobby, 3 Greenshank, 20 Green Sandpiper, 2 Common Sandpiper (Dip or Glory).
- Alexandra Park: Pied Flycatcher Top Field (below Boating Lake) 0830-0845, 6 Spotted Flycatchers (2 Top Field, 2 Cricket Scrub, 1 south in flight, 1 Slip Road) also Willow Warbler, 3+ Blackcaps, 2 Chiffchaffs, 5+ Swallows over Top Field, fem/imm Redstart still Cricket Scrub, also 15+ Blackcap, 3+ Whitethroat, Willow Warbler, Lesser Whitethroat, 3 Chiffchaffs, Yellow Wagtail west 0953, Kingfisher New River (Bob Watts, Andrew Gardener, John Murray); Pied Flycatcher and 2 Spotted Flycatchers in two oaks on edge of Grove adjacent to fenced off oak at 11.45 (Andrew Gardener) and again 18.50-19:00 (Gareth Richards).

- Little Britain Lake: 1 Kingfisher, Mute Swan pr & 3 young (down from 5) (Roger Dewey).
- Stoke Newington Reservoirs: 2 Spotted Flycatchers, 6 Willow Warblers and 5 Chiffchaffs (all along New River path / LWT garden), c10 House Martins, 55 Shoveler, Little Grebes with 3 young chicks plus two well-grown juvs, plus the usuals; Reed Warbler, Chiffchaff and Willow Warbler in Abney early on (Mark Pearson, Jamie Partridge and Tony Butler Hackney Wildlife).
- Hampton Court Park: 2 Wheatear at Rick Pond, 18 Sand Martin, 2 Chiffchaff (Andrew Skotnicki).
- Park Farm, Enfield: 2 (adult, 1st-w) Spotted Flycatcher; 1 Willow Warbler; 21 House Martin, flew S, 09:36 BST; 30+ Goldfinch (Robert Callf).
- Parkside Farm, Enfield: 1 Lesser Whitethroat (Robert Callf).
- Vicarage Farm, Enfield: 1 Whinchat, 'Barracks', 12:45 BST; 8 Swift; 31+ Barn Swallow; 2 House Martin (Robert Callf).
- Tyttenhanger GP's: Common Sandpiper, 3 Hobby (2 adult. 1 juv), 3 Buzzard (Steve Blake).

- Fulham/Wandle 8am: 2 Swallows, 1 Grey Wagtail. 2pm: 2 Kingfishers. 3:30pm: Yellow Legged Gull (Michael F).
- Crossness: 2 Garganey (fem/juvs) still on Great Breach lagoon, 2 Whinchat and 2 Wheatear in the paddocks, 4 Yellow-legged Gulls (2 ads, near-ad, 2nd- winter) on Thames, 50 Common Terns off Golf Centre, Peregrine, 4 Swallows south, 5 Common Sands, 6 Oystercatcher, 59 Lapwing, 75 Shelduck, 64 Teal, 3 Gadwall (John Archer).
- Regent's Park: Sand Martin, 3 Swallows, 15 House Martins, 3 Willow Warblers, 8 Chiffchaffs, after a brief stroll (Tony Duckett).
- Hampstead Heath: 3 Hobby, 1 Kingfisher, Hampstead Pond No 1: Lesser Black- backed Gull maurauding pair Great Crested Grebe with 3 small young, 2 male + 1 female Gadwall, brood 9 full grown Mute Swan cygnets with adults, 2 Tawny Owl calling seperate locations (Michael Mac).
- South Norwood CP: fem Sparrowhawk seen briefly as it dashed out of cover to chase a Long-tailed Tit (CroydonBirders).
