Akasaka Keiichiro

According to canon, Akasaka Keiichiro had already lost his parents before age 14 which is when he went to the Shirogane Mansion to study under Ryou's father (unless it was the Mrs. who's the teacher, kinda doubt it though, she seems too... dreamy) and later became his apprentice. He also became Ryou's guardian following the accident and assisted him with the Mew Project. Keiichiro's an archaeologist and an expert on Unidentified Mysterious Animals (UMAs) whose studying later continued under another teacher in Japan. His behavior is that of a gentleman - he is kind and polite, and quick to put an end to fights with his charms. He is very gifted, although he doesn't seem to be a natural genius like Ryou. He managed Cafe Mew Mew at one point, serving as the restaurant's main cook. He can also play the piano.

During the course of Tokyo Mew Mew, Keiichiro was 21 years old, and was once reunited with an old flame named Nishina Rei. The two of them get together in some dimensions within the larger game universe.

Kokoro's Keiichiro left to pursue a career in archaeology.

In America Mew Mew, Ryou doesn't seem to like Keiichiro overly much, a sharp contrast to Kokoro's Ryou who saw him as a close friend after he got over a one-sided rivalry to usurp the brunet's position as his father's assistant.
