Chrono Mew Mew

(Redirected from Chrono)

Chrono Mew Mew is one of the many dimensions within Kokoro, also known as the home of Shirogane Kyr and Aoyama Cerise (they could be considered the keys to Kokoro). Unlike other dimensions, Chrono is rarely spoken of unless one mentions Cerise, or if Kyr has decided to run away again. Generally, it's known as the 'sane' dimension.

[edit] Differences from Canon

When it comes to marriages:

(retsu modriwaka still ends up marrying Aoyama Masaya, and Shirayuki Berii still ends up marrying Tasuku Meguro as well)

  • Like in Kokoro, the Saica Mage System is used with the Shiroganes and a few others. However, it isn't as common.
  • Unlike other mew mews, the Chrono Mew Mews transform using their wristwatches and have more time-based skills than mew mews would have in other dimensions, hence the name of the dimension.

[edit] Residents

* While there are many in Chrono, these are only a few that appeared in Kokoro

Aoyama Cerise is the eldest daughter of retsu and Masaya in Chrono, as well as the leader of the Chrono Mews. To her, Kyr was a dear childhood friend, and it was highly implied that the two had potential for a romantic relationship. To this day, however, her boyfriend is Fujiwara Yama.

Aoyama Rai is Cerise's younger brother, and the son of retsu and Masaya. He isn't in Kokoro often, having been mentioned once or twice every so often. Kyr often mentions him in conversations, as the blond thinks of him as a younger brother.

Fujiwara Yama is Pai and Fujiwara Zakuro's oldest son. He has inherited alien powers from his father, but rarely uses them (it's rumored he's ashamed of them). Like Rai, he's a good friend of Kyr's, and is Cerise's current boyfriend.

Memory Brandon was a member of the Black Soul that represented the deadly sin Pride in the Sin branch. She attempted to ruin the Mew Project in Chrono by turning back the clock to change Ryou's romantic interest. Supposedly, this would give her access to the Shirogane family's secrets. She didn't count on Kyr getting revenge on her for ruining his family, however. Letting her pride get to her, she allowed herself to have many battles with him over two years. Sadly, her pride was her own downfall, and she was killed in Kyr's hands. Her defeat allowed Chrono to return to its own dimension, erasing Kyr's hatred for Ichigo as well.

Shirogane Akari is not a resident of Chrono, but is the oldest child of Shirogane Kyr and Shimizu Arisa. Her angel DNA, like her father's, has worn off, and she lives life as a normal illusion mage. She's unfortantely left to care for Shirogane Mika, her younger sister, who's quite the handful, and is blamed for the trouble she causes. Akari's known to be sensible and caring otherwise.

While Shirogane Java isn't a resident of Chrono, she hails from a dimension stemming from Chrono as Kyr and Cerise's daughter. When she did appear in Kokoro, she often appeared to have fun with Akari. Now, she remains in her home dimension, preferring to torment her older brother instead.

To explain Shirogane Kyr in a nutshell's a little hard. Just see the main article on him.

Shirogane Mika would be Akari's little sister, who can be quite the handful. She does get along with Akari most of the time, and it's not often that one is seen without the other.

Shirogane Razuberii is Kyr's older sister, and a twin to Shirogane Takeru. She's only mentioned, though she is rather infamous for giving Alto the nickname 'Mr. Whiskers'.

Shirogane Retasu would be Kyr, Takeru, and Razuberii's mother, and one of the original mews. She isn't referred to these days, as she prefers to spend time with her family.

Shirogane Ryou was the leader of the original Mew Project, as well as Retasu's husband and Kyr's, Takeru's, and Razuberii's father. He's a skilled time mage in his own right, yet he's more serious and engrossed in his work. Unfortunately for him, the Kokoro girls tend to know him as the "hot professor".

Shrirogane Takeru would be Kyr's older brother, as well as Razuberii's twin brother (he's older by fifteen minutes). In Kokoro's old days, he was known as a flirt, trying to win over Sarah Cohen's heart. It's later seen that he saw the error of his ways and changed his behavior. To Kyr, he's patient and sincere, though a little too brotherly at times.

Takaishi Sora is Ryou's assistant in Chrono, who eventually helps Takeru and Kyr in the Chrono Mew project. For more information, see his main article.

[edit] Rough Timeline

  • late 2023 - early 2024: Experimentation with the Mew Project notes begin; the Chrono Mew project is born from those notes
  • 2024: The Chrono Mew Project begins
  • 2025: The End of the Chrono Mew Project
  • 2026: Kyr ventures to Kokoro; he kills Memory at the end of the same year [In Kokoro, this spanned two years]

[edit] Retcons

The main retcon was probably having to deal with Shirogane Takeru, with changing his personality and appearance because his old flirt personality was getting old. Otherwise, there hasn't been much in Chrono that should be noted, other than one to explain how Memory's death affected Kyr.

[edit] Trivia

  • Ichigo Dares originated from this dimension. In short, an Ichigo dare is a dare sentenced by Momomiya Ichigo, but the dares tend to be somewhat absurd. The consequences for breaking them are great, so whenever one is made, it's usually kept unless one wants to face the consequences. An example of an Ichigo dare would be able to make you have Shirogane Jishou stay in a perfume store for an hour, and have him not kill you at the end of the hour.
