• Chrono Mew Mew: Hikari isn't referred to in Chrono, but it's assumed that she marries Daisuke and is the mother of their child, Nami.

[edit] Personality

Generally, Hikari is a pretty laid-back girl. She's cheerful, and likes just about anybody (even aliens, and to some extent, some members of the Black Soul); there isn't many that Hikari actually dislikes, or heaven forbid, hates. The girl doesn't get mad easily, and enjoys talking to people that some would normally avoid (such as Sumiko when she was around earlier)

Since the girl is a priestess, due to her powers and regard towards the shrine, it's to be assumed that she herself is somewhat religious. (This is partially true) Despite her sense of morals and religion, however, she doesn't speak about it too often, as people have their various opinions. She is quick to point that she isn't a Christian priestess, on the other hand.

Even though she doesn't get mad easily, Hikari does have her moments. When that happens, one might want to steer clear, as it's not a pretty sight.

The girl doesn't fear much, either. While a weasel will send her running, or when she's high up in the air and she looks down... other than those two, she doesn't have much, if any.

• Before Daisuke and Hikari were engaged, Hikari began to feel something for Roy Bancroft. While this never went beyond a puppy dog crush, it was something that Hikari didn't want to admit for a long time, as Roy was "out of her league" - and he was an American too. It's likely that if Roy had known about her crush, he would have been more careful about the way that he had acted towards her when they had first met.

• Element: Holy/Light

Though Hikari does have offensive abilities and such, she is mainly the healer of her The Star Six, performing healing abilities as needed. If she's not needed to heal, then Hikari will perform defensive or evasive moves to distract the foe while the others attack. While she and Shirogane Kyr share many abilities, Hikari is more agile and light, while Kyr tends to use endurance more than she.

• Pureheart: A simple silver flute with blue outlines. Outside of battle, Hikari uses this when she plays in her school band. (It's currently used in Kokoro)
• Wind's Ease: Hikari's newest weapon. It's a small pink and green baton with a heart engraved in the cap, and white ribbons tied just underneath the cap. (This has not been used in Kokoro yet)

• Ofuda Charms: Being a Shinto priestess, Hikari has the ability to use ofudas to seal off evil spirits whenever the need calls for it.

• Light Control: Hikari can take sources of light, and manipulate them to suit her own needs in battle (as well as outside).

• Telepathy: Like the other members of the Star Six, Hikari can talk to them through their bonds. She's used to this enough that she can block the other voices out when she needs to, and open the doorway for communication when she absolutely has to. Normally, Hikari will connect with the members of The Star Six, her family, or any of her close friends.

[edit] Signature Attacks

• Barrier: Similarly to the other mages, Hikari creates a barrier made of light to protect her from attacks. If she concentrates enough, the barrier could be strong enough to knock back attacks at their creator.

• Melody's Lure: Hikari plays a melody on the flute, focusing the foe to look at her as beams of light aim at the foe from behind.

• Holy Glow: Candles float around the foe as Hikari plays, their glow getting stronger with each note. After a few measures, the candles turn into beams of holy light and attack the foe on all sides. (An alternate version of this spell is White Spheres.)

• Prayer: Hikari murmurs a prayer to the gods. Heals most minor physical wounds.

[edit] Unison Attacks

• Double Heal: Combines Hikari's Cura spell with Kyr's healing abilities. Together, the two can heal massive damage done to their allies with one spell, or perform a more powerful version of a holy element spell.

• Nature's Light: This attack combines Roy's Rose Vine spell with Hikari's Holy spell. Roses shoot up from the ground, bloom, and shoot holy beams of light at the foe almost instantaneously.

[edit] Trivia

• Before Daisuke, Hikari actually had a huge crush on Roy's precursor. While this ended up going absolutely nowhere, it is interesting to mention since in the NB timeline, Hikari does find Roy cute - much to Daisuke's dismay. (It should also be noted that the two are not engaged in the NB timeline, either, nor are they truly... dating, persay.)
