Seemingly an innocent elderly lady who lives in New York (in America Mew Mew, she resides in Brooklyn along with the other residents), Gloria is actually quite the busybody. She's actually a little racist as well, preferring that people marry people of their own skin color. To quote, "Americans should marry Americans and Japanese should marry Japanese." While she gets along well enough when she has to, she has made a life long enemy in Jishou, though she knows this quite well.

Her worst weapon, however, is her dog: Tinkerbell. Tinkerbell.. well, the gender of the current one is a girl. This toy poodle likes to bite people (even break their bones if he/she can), and is a menace to all but the Shirogane girls, who somehow have been able to have it tamed in their arms. The oddest thing about Gloria and her dog, though is this: every time her dog dies, Gloria buys a new one and gives it the same name.

• Would you believe it? Saica's mother's family did the same thing with their dog, Heidi, that Gloria does to Tink.
• So far, Tinkerbell has broken Minoru's arm, Roy's wrist, and so forth.
