When 4Kids' licensing of the show was first announced, the original cast retaliated by creating an arc in which Murahara Sakura was kidnapped by Alfred Kahn. Subsequent references to Mew Mew Power have been fewer in recent times, although people have been threatened with being forced to watch it now and then.
