Eithne is the daughter of Fran and Balthier, and has appeared perhaps once or twice in Kokoro. In either case, she hails from the storyverse known as Kingdom Chronicles, her homeworld being the Final Fantasy XII version of Ivalice

• Distinguishing Features: White rabbit-like ears tipped with black, smaller than that of a full blooded Viera; black tinted hands and feet, starting at the knuckles on her hands, and at the toes on her feet; off-white hair [Humes have normal hair colors, but the Viera in Eithne's Ivalice all have white hair]; eventually, as she grows older, taller than a Hume her age [Viera=tall. Balthier=tall as well, but not as tall as Fran]

Personality

Although sociable, Eithne tends to be reserved and contemplative, planning her next move ahead of time, and on the lookout for trouble. Being part Viera, of course, and the daughter of Fran, no less, this doesn't come as much of a surprise. For the most part, acting her own age is reserved for when she is with family or friends, and even then, Eithne isn't as much of a bubbly extrovert as someone like Charice or Rakka. The Viera never really were known for their sense of humor, anyways, and the child doesn't seem to have picked up on any of Balthier's wit and charm.

Despite being half-Hume, Eithne prefers to refer to herself as a full-blooded Viera when in the prescence of other-wordly Humes, given that they wouldn't know the differences that mark her as only half-blooded

Trivia

• Eithne was created in response to the fact that fandom for some reason likes to assume that all video game couples that aren't in a setting where girls would be more favorable have sons. Tsu doesn't know the logistics behind this or how everyone's so sure they're going to have someone to carry on the family name, but that's them O: In any case, given that Viera are supposedly an all-female race, who's to say that Fran and Balthier's half-Viera child wouldn't be a girl?
