Canon refers to events and pairings that were officially established in either the manga or anime version of Tokyo Mew Mew, or both. However, lots of fans challenge canon by creating their own fanfiction and roleplaying games [for whatever reason; more times than not because they think Momomiya Ichigo should have ended up with one of the other boys]. An example would be Kokoro itself, which only supports about two pairings that are considered canon (BeriixTasuku and MintoxZakuro, I believe).
