Though it can detect the presence of aliens and Chimera Anima, it prefers interacting with and mimicking people. He doesn't always carry out his job as "guard dog" very well because he is a bit senseless and way too affectionate. R2004 was later given to [[Satou]], who took a particular liking to him (even though others wanted robots of their own). Aikagi's given name means "spare key", though he is more often called "Kagi" or "Altoid" because he was modelled after Ryou's cat form, [[Alto]].
