Editing Akasaka Junri

Junri is the Balthier of the [[Shirogane Anzu|Anzu]]-Junri duo. In short, for those non-FFXII players, she's the one with the charming personality, who manages to stay calm even though they got thrown in prison and there's corpses, and omgwtfweregonnadie. Some say that the secret to her success is that she's long given up hope for peace

Others say lots of caffeine.

In any case, she's somehow managed to keep her sanity despite the fact that she lives in [[Cafe Mew Mew]], in [[FTMM]].

Although Keiichiro does marry Rei later on in FTMM, she's not Jun's mother. Rather, some random woman Keiichiro got together some odd years ago is, but that woman conviniently fell into a plot hole, er...dropped off the face of the earth, when Junri was born, so uh...yeah. 

Technically, Anzie and Jun hate each other, but both, for the past three years, have pretended to be friends.

* '''Appearance:''' Junri's style of dress varies, ranging from Japanese street fashion to just an ordinary outfit one would find listed on the Gap's website. She prefers muted shades, not really preferring one color to another, and tends to be seen wearing a panda hat with earflaps she added on her own. The hat itself's seen better days, really.

==Personality==

In at least the aspect of business relations, as she's put it, Junri is charming, intellectual, and rather calm about things. When around people, she does her best to put on appearances to fit in, although her exposure to the world outside of the movie theatre is limited. On the other hand, when on her own, she isn't sure what she's supposed to be. First and foremost, though, she identifies herself simply as Junri Akasaka, a teenager who stopped believing that happy endings come just by sitting around doing nothing. Whether she gets along with Anzu or not is another matter.

When she's not off at the movies to avoid the cafe, Junri is either helping with cooking in the kitchen, or she's immersed herself in reading fairy tales of the european variety, despite claims from others that she's too old for such things. 

Instrument-wise, Jun doesn't hate the piano, per say, but isn't an expert at it. Instead, she's taken up the trumpet, although this isn't all too appreciated by the other cafe residents, given the odd hours she chooses the practice. The teen still likes the sound of the piano, though, and also is interested in the sound of bells.

==Friends or Foes?==

To be truthful, Junri hates Anzu, and the cat gijinka hates her in return. Although they work together, it isn't without large grudges towards the other and rumors about each other behind their backs. This doesn't come as a surprise to those who know the two closely, but for the most part, they tend to put on an act, pretending to be friends with each other. This doesn't last very long, however, when disagreements arise, and Junri is known to act upon suggestions from the other girls as to how to settle disputes, which has already led her to a black eye.

Anzu hates Junri for many reasons, including the merging with cat DNA. Despite the fact that the story goes that Sugar was the one to have accidentally injected the gijinka with DNA, this was actually Junri's idea, based on her twisted logic that if Ichigo and Ryou both had feline DNA in them, Anzu would be a perfect candidate for being a Mew. Obviously, this didn't work.

Junri's reasons for hating Anzu are unclear. She refuses to reveal anything, generally keeping up the friend act instead, but it's clear at times that she doesn't trust the blonde all that well. It's possible, actually, that her hatred is nothing more than a manifestation of her guilt and anger about the project, which evolved into hatred.

In either case, Junri has stated she isn't sure if they're putting on this act to make their parents happy, or if it's just for the sake of business relations

Mochi Ishimaru isn't an actual counterpart, technically, but is whom Junri's hair color/style is based off of, and was the original basis for Junri. In either case, Jun has had dreams of being a Mew with gills, scales, webbed feet and hands, which could possibly be a reference to the foolish fish Mew in the above named game.

==Trivia==

*Jun's journal, for the most part, is a mixture of fairy tales, movie quotes, and just random entries. She claims it doesn't mean anything in particular.
*She does indeed have friends, despite spending most of her time at the movies. They're generally just as bad as she is, though, in terms of their love of movies and jewelry collecting. At least they have a sense of mind as to what jewelry looks good with what outfits?
*Technically, now that the Project's over, Anzu and Junri have been letting their hair down, so to speak, and basically making no efforts to be nice to one another, but, still, for some reason, the two do have their moments of still pretending to be friends, even though it's already been revealed that the girls hate each other.
*Junri's name is a reference to Junyi, one of Tsu's Gaia friends, xD;
