An information leak or an official tip? We don't know. All we know is: this is cool insider stuff, and thanks to ForbiddenPlanet, we are given a sneak peek at next year's Lego Star Wars line-up. Thrilling.

Everything in "J'e early verdict" represents the author's original opinion. As such, please don't sue. Since the info has leaked out elsewhere on the net, I thought we'd best do it too.

J’s early verdict: Basically the bad guy version of the above set, though somehow it doesn’t look as enticing. The troop carrier looks a tad too thrown together, but the STAp is a great redesign of the 1999 original. Love the spiffy repaint for the Super Battle Droids, though. Its a cool new "grunge metallic" sheen, most probably not seen anywhere else.. They could've put in the new-mould blasters, though.

Clone Trooper Battle Pack D4435

J’s early verdict: This looks like what the fans have been wanting all the while: an affordable way to build your army. As a "battle pack", this sure packs some battle! The battle station and two-seater bike are very welcome bonuses, plus this set features the awesome newly-moulded guns and rare clone troops. At last, we're not reduced to making our minifigs tote megaphones!

Droids Battle Pack D4434

J’s early verdict: Basically the bad guy version of the above set, though somehow it doesn’t look as enticing. The troop carrier looks a tad too thrown together, but the STAP is a great redesign of the 1999 original. Love the spiffy repaint for the Super Battle Droids, though. Its a cool new "grunge metallic" sheen, most probably not seen anywhere else.. They could've put in the new-mould blasters, though.

General Grievous Starfighter D4436

J’s early verdict: Hmm, this is an interesting one, and seems a fitting way to reuse taht dust-collecting Grievous fig. However, it appeared quite little in the film, and could have been done earlier. As a starfighter, it doesn't seem what we've come to expect. Also, proportions seem quite off, judging from my source material. Not on my wish list.

Y-Wing Fighter D4438

J’s early verdict: Great stuff! This looks set to be an awesome redesign, much more accurate in colour and with amazing exposed-mechanical-parts detail. Everything looks a ton better, considering the original already wan't all that bad. This seems the perfect minifig-scale remodel, bridging the gap between the originaal and the UCS.

AT-ST Walker D4437

J’s early verdict: Now this is what I’m talking about! Great size and scale, plus a cool pilot minifig, what we've all been hankering long and hard for. Amzing leg joints and all that, an especially faithful reincarnation. A hundredfold improvement on the dismal first version, and the set I’m most looking forward to in this line-up.

Imperial Landing Craft D4439

J’s early verdict: An unexpected but interesting addition to the line-up. This little-seen Ep. 4 ship is slightly off-scale (wings too large etc), but is quite detailed for its size and comes with excellent minifigs, plus some spiffy new-mould blaster rifles, even cooler than the new-mould blaster pistols.

So, drooling yet? J certainly is. visit the above link and From Bricks to Bothans for more info, and draw your own conclusions.
