Dr Gregory House, from House MD, left New Jersey following a near over dose. He settled in Chicago, maintaining only minimal contact with anyone from his previous life, until Dr Allison Cameron showed up and interviewed for a position on his staff. The two have a very volatile relationship, as Greg is too unstable to settle down.
