Your resources (gold, stone, lumber) are kept in the storehouse.The more it is expanded, the more resources can be stored. At the same time the share of resources which cannot be plundered increases. Without a storehouse, 1,000 units of each resource can be stored and 100 units of this amount cannot be plundered.
