A farm is an isle which a player uses in order to gain resources. Farms are most likely to be inactive players, but could be active ones. Farms are of course incredibly important to the player who wants to do very well, as this is an external source of gold and other resources above what they can produce themselves..
Finding Farms
The easiest method is to look within your immediate area. Note scores and personal details of players nearby. If their score does not move much they could be inactive. A spy or series of spies will confirm this, if their storehouses are full, (you can tell this is all resources are at the same level for example 38337, which is a level 20 storehouses maximum level). Sending a 'hello' message will also confirm if they are inactive.
Farming
Whether active or not the farmer will want to take out a few key buildings before starting to farm.
Units and buildings to destroy:
- ALL units
- Stone Wall (to stop the 11LWS loss each attack
- Main House (to stunt growth if farm becomes active again)
- Stone Quarry (not a resource generally in demand but seriously stunts growth if farm becomes active again)
- Barracks (to stunt growth if farm becomes active again)
Other buildings, especially the Gold Mine and Lumber Mill should be left to maximise the profit on the farm.
