Pat Robertson (March 22nd, 1930) is an American influential Christian conservative who appears often on right-wing religious tv- and radio shows. He is pro-life, anti-gay and his pronouncements have often sparked controversy, particularly when he called upon the US government to assassinate the Venezuelan president Hugo Chavéz. Among others, he leads the American Center for Law and Justice and the Christian Coalition. He also founded Regent University in Virginia.
