a) ===Family Planning in the US===- Title X, the National Family Planning Program established in 1970, provides high quality reproductive healthcare and contraceptive services to American women. Title X funds are used to enable clinics to provide an assortment of preventative health services, including contraceptive services, gynecological exams, pregnancy testing, STD's etc. a) ===Family Planning Around the World===- The The United Nations Population Fund works in over 140 countries to ensure that women have access to voluntary family planning, economic opportunities, and education - all of which contribute to increased opportunities for women to choose the size and spacing of their families. Enabling access to voluntary, safe and affordable family planning services and empowering women and girls helps to slow population growth, ultimately securing a more sustainable future for families throughout the world.
b) ===Migration and Consumption===- To reduce migration pressures we must adress the root causes: inequality of opportuntiy, of justice, of freedom, and of fear. We must also discuss that American Policy and patterns of consumption are no model for the world to follow. If we do so we may be able to stop immigrants from illegaly gaining access into our country. If we do so, we can set better examples for other countries and our future Government.
