Ingredients

  • 1/2 c. oil
  • 1 c. cider vinegar
  • 1 1/2 tsp. poultry seasoning
  • 1/4 tsp. white or black pepper
  • 1 egg
  • 2 Tbsp. salt

Directions

Mix all ingredients together well. You can put ingredients in a jar and shake thoroughly. This is enough marinade to cover 5 broiler halves. It is best to pierce the chicken skin and let this marinade soak into the chicken overnight. It adds a wonderful flavor to chicken.

Notes on attribution: Michele got this recipe from her mother-in-law who got it from a store in Auburn, NY that sold the marinade. When you cook chicken on a barbecue grill after it has soaked in this marmalade, the smell makes your mouth water!
