The Grand Author Council is a secret cabal of RPers that prizes good writing skills and the ability to RP well. They detest bad spelling and grammar, but not nearly as much as they loathe 1337, chatspeak, and bad RPing.

The Council exists in secret, telling no one about its existence save those that it welcomes into its ranks. They have made their presence known on one occasion only: an invocation of their authority to smite 1337-speaking filth morons brainless scum linguistically challenged individuals. It's so secret, in fact, that many people don't realize they're in it.
