One who, while not posting on a forum, reads its threads. The lurker may or may not have signed up on that forum, depending on the forum's policies for thread viewing, the individual's past actions on the forum, and his or her attitude towards lurking.
In the case of Mayhem, many lurkers become Bunnies later in life.
