If a woman finds something offensive to the female gender said or done by a man and uses Hammerspace to bring some feminine punishment, but the man in question didn't mean it that way, he can access Macespace for a mace (the big metal thing with spikes, not the stuff in the eyes) in the name of self preservation. The man may not hit the woman with the mace, but may block the hammer's blow.
Unlike Hammerspace, Macespace is not automatic. The user needs to be aware of its existence for it to be used.
