The Grand Author Council is a secret cabal of RPers that prizes good writing skills and the ability to RP well. They detest bad spelling and grammar, but not nearly as much as they loathe l337, chatspeak, and bad RPing.
The Council exists in secret, telling no one about its existence save those that it welcomes into its ranks. They have made their presence known on one occasion only: an invocation of their authority to smite l337-speaking filth morons brainless scum linguistically challenged individuals.
There is no Council. *brings up MIB-style neuralyzer* We are just a figment of your imagination. *flash!*
