Brief Description

Katherine was your average teenaged perky goth that read WAY to much Twilight. Therefore, when she was offered the chance to become a Vampire for reals, she jumped at the chance. Only to find the reality was VERY different than the sparkly little golems she fantasied about. Also, her sire turned out to be a complete psycho.

Anyway, along came the DOD with answers for some of her problems and Durai gets himself a new minion.

Physical Description

Well, she's pale and has long raven hair, so that worked out in Katherine's favour. She also has small fangs, red eyes and normally looks not a day over 19, which pleases her. Oh, and she has a tattoo of an ankh on her left cheek. That has nothing to do with her vampirism. She's just pretentious.

Personality

Angsty and pretentious, but in an adorable way. And at least the reason for her angst is kosher, she didn't get what she expected out of the whole vampire deal. She doesn't even Sparkle!

In addition to the above, she's a reasonable confident young woman, except when it comes to matters of romance. At which points she becomes really shy and tongue tied. Even just talking about, "it", with her closest friends would make her go crimson. At least that doesn't happen anymore, what with the whole vampiric physiology.

Powers & Weaknesses

OK, so lets determine what rules applies to Katherine specific strain of vampirism.

  • They need a human's worth of blood based life force a day, or they age, then rot, like they're still alive. Also, their bites hurt as much as someone sticking two sharp teeth into you would.
  • They can only turn willing victims into another vampire, otherwise the bite is just a bite.
  • They aren't any stronger than they were allow, but are tougher, due to not bleeding and such-like, and have inhumanly fast reflexes. Also, they can also "Walk Unseen" a mental trick that only works if they're not drawing attention to themselves.
  • Staking, decapitation and fire don't stop working just because they're undead. However, they don't become suddenly more effective either.
  • Bright sunlike is at most uncomfortable on the eyes.
  • Crosses and other holy items are ineffective, though "Effect Vampire" magic obviously still works.
  • They do have a reflection, but can be spotted by the fact they're animated corpses, even if a well preserved one, with glowing red eyes.
  • Immortal unless killed/starve.
  • Living creatures age and sicken more quickly around them, though this is more subtle than most examples.
