Doctor Moon is kind of an all around jerk. Little else is known about him, as he is very much bad at this whole friendship thing. What is known is that he is something of a temporal tourist; he visits important moments in history, just to watch, often bringing other ponies along for the ride. On one such journey, he took Derpy Hooves along to witness the Elements of Harmony defeating Nightmare Moon.
