Lake

F-Grim leaves the House and goes to the lake where she is shocked by what she sees.
Kraggi is Stopped and Ann is moving in slow motion.
F-Grim and Freek argue over Freek’s involvement with a succubus.
Sage froze Kragi to prevent him from killing demon Nonah.
Sage has put a pacifism spell on the area and contemplates releasing Kraggi from the freeze.
Ann-KF reminds everyone she is death but Nonah claims death can’t kill a Tribeikas.
Nonah mentions she is only half succubus.
Sage asks Kraggi if knowing Nonah is only half demon will change his mind.
Kraggi is not swayed by this knowledge about Nonah.
Grim and Freek discuss demonology and mating.
Atescu claims demons don’t exist and that Nonah is half-dragon.
Rose attempts to stop slow motion Ann from running at Aurora and Nonah by pulling on Ann’s tail.
Rose’s attempt fails and she is dragged along.
Sage talks to Rose telepathically and asks if she’s willing to let him establish a telepathic link between her and Ann to force Ann to listen.
Atescu uses the spell “Akhane Duini” to silence F-Grim and Freek who were shouting at each other.
Sage confronts Kraggi about his hatred for Nonah.
Ateschu insists once more that there are no demons only half-dragons.

Town

JJA wakes up after standing for several hours and goes home to prepare for a party.

Outside

Lomgren and Elshi dash across the street once it is clear.
Lomgren keeps a look out while trying to keep up with Elshi who is dragging him by the hand.

Author Brother’s House

Elshi brings Lomgren some CD’s from her room and asks if he has a CD player.
Lomgren keeps his CD player underneath his TV set.
The two sneak out of the house and head to Lomgren’s house.

Lomgren’s House

Lomgren locks the door behind them as they enter.
He asks a pale Elshi if she is okay.
Elshi gives Lomgren a CD and to play saying it’s been far too long since she heard this one.

Liver’s Last Leg Pub, Tuksal, Galzabor

A poker game is underway between three men.
Stark, the taller man, wins the hand with a full house, queens over sevens.
The grey robbed man, Master Grenith, approaches the three men and two of them bow while the larger man nods.
Grenith states Kraggi is getting married and asks Stark to do the honor.
Master Grenith has been dead for over 100 years.
Jeff Stark protests the dangers of crossing the wastes and the shorter man, a disciple named Ben Charron, is volunteered for the job in Stark’s place.
Arrangements are made for travel and the group parts ways.

Xaych is checks the truck after a sniper shoots.
Xaych wakes Keith to alert him and heads out to investigate.
Keith follows her to a "gunfight" at the "beach" (Lake).

Lake

List of characters at the Lake: Sanchay (inactive), Nonah, Kraggi, Grim, Atescu, Freek, Random_Sage, Ann, Rose, Aurora, Knave, Chuck, and Skippy
Kraggi rebuttals and sneers at Sage.
Aurora mentions she and Ann-KF are ghosts.
Ann-KF walks into Ann and attempts to dissuade her from killing Nonah.
Nonah claims to not be evil, but to have at times killed when forced to do so.
Kraggi doesn’t believe Nonah and hisses at her.

Eric appears holding a golden bat and attempts to tell Kraggi that demon-akin are different from Infernal Beings.
Xiao pulls an enchanted bough from a tree and gains a magic staff.
Sage threatens Kraggi with dimensional banishment if he refuses the link again.
JJA lets Kraggi know he is one fourth demon.
Ateschu continues his claims that demon = dragon.
Nonah asks Sage to silence Ateschu.
Nonah recounts how Chuck killed, ate and reanimated her without her permission, but that she let him keep her old body.
Nonah asks if yogamancy can be used to revive fallen al-Kiraqi demons.
Grim and Freek continue to have no voice and mouth words at each other.
Xaych and Keith arrive stealthily.
Keith yells out to Kraggi that the telepathy is a demon trap.
Xaych elbows Keith hard.
Kraggi begrudgingly consents to the link.
Sage tells Keith why his earlier statement was incorrect and that the link is safe.

Nonah argues with Eric’s statements on demonology.
Ann has no immediate reaction to Ann-KF’s presence in her body.
F-Grim’s voice returns and she lets go of Ateschu
Freek and Eric continue to argue about the definition of what is a demon.
Keith is relieved to hear that Nonah is a half-demon explaining that this means she has free will.
Xachy asks Keith how he knows so much about demonic breeding to which Keith responds by distracting her and escaping without explaining.

Ann’s Mindscape

A large brick wall figment blocks Ann-KF from the part of the brain in control.
The wall is graffitied with a horror scene of a shrouded grinning figure who has stabbed with a sword through the chest of a now dead woman who looks similar to human form Ann whose hand lies outstretched to the viewer.
Muffled crying is behind the wall.

Lomgren’s House

Lomgren plays Elshi’s CD and sits down on his couch.

The Tunnel

Lora decides not to wait for Death to guide her and walks towards the light.

Lake

Atescu concedes the possibility of the existence of demons and half-demons.
Invisible Rose stops Ann’s motion by leaning against her.
Rose asks Ann-KF via Ann’s ear if Ann-KF is talking to Ann.
Aurora tells Rose to go for the sides.
Likal watches the scene, turns himself invisible, and then approaches the others.

Ann’s head

The title of the graffiti is ‘’Rose Senior, portrayed at the moment of death’’.
The wall echoes and the weeping continues.
Ann-KF hits the wall at the point where Morfazar is painted.
The wall ripples and the image of Mofazar is replaced by a hooded Nonah, and the image of Rose senior is replaced with Kraggi. The image flicks back to normal a second later as the ripple passes.
Ann-KF vouches for Nonah’s character.
When Rose speaks into Ann’s ear the words echo off the wall, but also rattle the bricks.
Ann-KF pounds on the walls some more as she can’t respond to Rose.

Kraggi’s Mind

Nonah recaps her life story to Kraggi via Sage’s mind link. It involves lots of being driven out of lakes by people and some time spent with a kind pirate at sea.
Kraggi feels a slight amount of regret and disapproves of Chuck having reanimated Nonah, but is still rather prejudiced.
Sage instructs Nonah to share more of her mind including emotions, and also to not skip over parts – it’s suspicious.
Nonah agrees to a point, she doesn’t want to share the details of her sex life.
Kraggi’s mind is shared with Nonah: “a basically good mind, tormented by magic bound to his mind, the only way to remove it would kill him. It halts rational thought, enhances hatred, and quickens sadness. It adds wild impulses and desires, and makes him regret it later. Rose's broken corpse is int he forefront of his mind, and a weeping Ann beside her.”
Kraggi concedes Nonah is basically good natured. He pokes looks over things a bit longer to make sure nothing was missed.
Nonah starts to fantasize about Freek until Sayobi addresses Kraggi.
Kraggi is alarmed by the second mental presence.
Sayobi introduces herself as Nonah’s 10,000 year old succubus ancestor. She then hits on Kraggi.
Kraggi is surprised that he detects little malice in a true demon.
Nonah and Sayobi engage Kraggi in light banter.
Kraggi apologizes for attempted murder.

Town Square

Lora is resurrected. She jumps into the fountain due to the embarrassment of being nude.
The Gravekeeper presents Lora with her body and clothes.
Lora asks the skeleton to hand over her clothes. Gravekeeper complies.
Lora gets dressed.

Lomgren’s House

Lomgren listens to the CD and is lost in worry about Ann being gone too long.
Elshi sings along with the CD.
Lomgren can’t focus on anything but Ann.

The wall Echo’s only the word Rose this time.
Gravity tilts a bit and some loose bricks by the sword image slide forward.
Ann-KF pulls on the sliding bricks.
Louder crying.
Ann-KF continues pulling bricks.
The Morfazar section of wall falls/vanishes revealing Ann on a patch of sand weeping over Lora’s body.
Ann-KF reminds Ann that death is not permanent here.
Ann is distraught over having shot Lora. The surrounding blackness reveals the images of hundreds of rogue zombies attacking women and children. Some of the zombies are being shot by a magnum.
Ann-KF consoles Ann.
At Ann-KF’s touch, Ann and Lora vanish in blue flame wisps. Ann reappears holding Rose.
Ann asks why the innocent always die.
Ann-KF doesn’t know.

Lake

Rose tickles Ann. She stops to avoid being clawed not realizing she can not be harmed at present.
Sage splashes water on his face and sits by the shore.
Kraggi reverts to his normal form and apologizes again. He has no one to blame for Rose’s death but himself.
Nonah forgives Kraggi, hugs him, and asks him for Ann’s name.
Kraggi fights his revulsion at her touch and returns the hug.
Nonah releases Kraggi.
Ann’s claws retract and her absent stare loses its focus.
Kraggi notices blood and realizes that by ordering Ann to shoot he was responsible for Lora’s death.
Ann’s eye’s tear heavily.
Grim stops Kraggi who is banging his own head into the ground.
Aurora holds on to Ann, but lets go when Ann-KF state this is pulling her out.

Deathmanse Lawn

Nyx: "Um...Liz? Spell?"
Liz gives Nyx a Sunlight activated reflective shielding. It does not protect her eyes.

Town Square

The Gravekeeper tells Lora that he once was Death, but got bored with being a ghost.
Gravekeeper comments how Knave has gotten the skeletons out of the closets he hid.
Lora tries to shake the Gravekeeper’s hand.

Lomgren’s House

Lomgren is completely lost to worry as he sits there rocking.
Elshi plays the air-guitar.

Lomgren’s House

Lomgren continues his worry about Ann.
Elshi notices Lomgren’s behavior and asks what’s wrong. He ignores her.
Elshi leaves to get help.

Ann’s Mind

Ann struggles with why innocents die.
Ann-KF is saddened by memories of a similar situation where he found ~~Ann~~ Rose dead.

Lake

Xiao leaves for the Town Square.
Sage feels Knave can handle the Ann situation.
Sage contemplates calling in ‘’favors’’ to neutralize the magic on Kraggi’s mind.
Kraggi mourns Lora.
Grim holds Kraggi in her arms and asks what’s wrong.
Kraggi utters “Lora”.
Grim says Lora’s death was not Kraggi’s fault. Kraggi contests this claim.
Grim tells Kraggi not to dwell on mistakes. They argue back and forth on this for a good while.
Aurora sides with Grim on the issue saying that Lora’s behavior was unpredictable.
Nonah also sides with Grim.
Grim is “reminded of having to talk with Ryuu after Bleu sacrificed herself to the ancient Sleep Spell so that they could pass into the ancient city”.
Grim has a flash back of this memory.
Kraggi realizes the futility of arguing and decides to punish himself.

Town Square

Lora asks Gravekeeper if a funeral would be appropriate for her old body.
Elshi arrives then asks Lora to help Lomgren.

Ann’s Mind

Ann declares that there is no hope.
Ann-KF replies “but we must still try.”
Ann asks “and if we fail?”
Ann-KF talks of learning and trying again.
Young Ann is consoled and the scene vanishes.
A 26 year old Zombie Ann appears hunched over a slashed and bitten 4 year old girl.
This Ann spits blood and yells how she is no better than the weapons and forces she commands.
Ann-KF says that weapons are unlike men in that men have their own will.
Zombie Ann counters that men, like weapons, are mere extensions of ones will. She then takes another bite of four year old girl.
Ann-KF can’t seem to think to herself and feels odd about not feeling the deaths here.
Zombie Ann claims responsibility for the actions and inactions of all under her command. "I am no better than the worst person under my command."-Ann
Ann-KF talks of choosing those one commands and risk management.
Zombie Ann mocks this statement.

Lake

Grim offers to take Kraggi home to listen to music.
Kraggi complies but only because he is engrossed with thinking up an appropriate self punishment.
Kraggi decides on “an eye for an eye”.
Kraggi cries less frequently as he and Grim go home.
~~Likal~~ The invisible stranger begins to take notes and hum loudly.

The Rex

Jodi enters and asks hello.
Squato welcomes Jodi.
Jodi sits at the counter and asks “What've ya got?”

Ann’s Mindscape

Ann-KF asks Zombie Ann why ((Real)) Ann is in Mossy Knoll.
Zombie Ann has no access to Ann’s memories since the time of the wall’s creation and therefore knows nothing of Mossy Knoll.
Ann-KF’s lack of knowledge that the war never happened causes confusion.
Zombie Ann calls this battle ‘Genocide of innocence’ then laughs.
Ann-KF: “where?” (she’s still confused about history in this universe)
Ann says this is the beautiful new ruins of Gal-Zabor.

Lake

Sage feels Kraggi’s emotional state change and warns Grim telepathically.

The Rex

Squato offers Jodi a free drink in exchange for introducing herself.
Jodi introduces herself as a catkin ‘mad scientist’.
Squato tells Jodi a bit about himself and why he is in Mossy Knoll.
Jodi drinks and says she is here because she isn’t needed anymore.
The drink is Fair Haven Whiskey.
Squato asks Jodi what she used to make.

Road

Grim acknowledges and claims true love.
Kraggi thinks of suicide.
Grim asks Kraggi if he is okay.
Kraggi mumbles.
Grim sings Outside the Wall by Pink Floyd into Kraggi’s ear.
Kraggi doesn’t react at all and this is to be considered “very very very very shocking.”
Grim realizes something is terribly wrong and drags Kraggi home post haste.

Author Brother's House

Upstairs Grim flings off all her clothes in desperation for a response.
Kraggi raises an eyebrow and nothing more.
Grim tries kissing this time.

Author Brother’s House

Kraggi clamps his mouth so Grim gets no tongue.
Grim starts reading Horton Hears a Who to Kraggi.
Kraggi isn’t paying attention.
Grim drags Kraggi into the kitchen and cooks him a breakfast-style meal while wearing only her underwear.
Kraggi contemplates how to commit suicide without leaving a mess for Grim.
Grim decides she needs Elshi’s help and so she drags Kraggi around the house while looking for Elshi.
Not finding Elshi at home, Grim takes to the streets and of course she drags Kraggi along with her.

Town Square

Lora decides to go with Elshi to help Lomgren .
Elshi drags the soaked Lora to Lomgren’s House.
Lora finds it cute that the kid is dragging her along.
Xiao arrives by the fountain with his new wand and then he polishes the wand with a sharp rock.

Lake

Invisible Rose sneaks up on the invisible humming stranger.
Aurora sits on a rock and watches Ann.

Lomgren’s House

Lomgren is still sitting and rocking while oblivious to his surroundings.
Lora and Elshi arrive.
Lora suggests soothing music might reduce Lomgren’s stress level.
The stereo was already playing upbeat music: “You're My Best Friend” by Brian May.
Lomgren’s mind is stuck in a worry feedback loop.
Lora considers various options ranging from threatening Lomgren’s crotch with foot based violence to bribing him with food.

Lake

Nonah returns Aurora’s robe.
Aurora’s eyelashes grow 4 feet in length due to expired magic.
Aurora feels needed and so she excuses herself and runs over to Ann.
Freek mentions it is noon time.
Nonah dives into the lake, changes forms, and asks Freek about the party being later tonight.

Ann’s Mindscape

Ann-KF finally recognizes the landscape.
Zombie Ann explains this all happened because she gave the wrong command and everyone died by her word.
Ann-KF: “…I'm not a zombie, and this isn't real.”
Zombie Ann points out the various ruined structures and Ann-KF’s apparent lack of organs as a rebuttal.
Ann-KF believes she is wearing the Frisky Kitty shirt. She calls for a reality check.
Hostile multi-colored demons arrive on the scene.
Ann-KF says "Go for the sides."
At this moment Aurora tickles Ann’s body and returns her (Aurora) eyelashes back to 4 inches long.
Ann grabs her sides in reflex.
The mindscape tilts and Zombie Ann falls out of sight.

Lomgren’s House

Elshi hears Auntie Grim outside and calls for help to move Lomgren away from here. Elshi grabs his ankles.
Lora offers to take the legs if Elshi will grab Lomgren’s arms instead. They manage to drag Lomgren into the street where Grim is standing with Kraggi.
Grim says to follow her and the group ends up in the Town Square.

Town Square

Something like pins enters Lomgren's mind and starts distracting him from Ann more and more.
Lora sees Kraggi and asks him what happened with Nonah after she (Lora) died.
The sight of Lora snaps Kraggi back to reality and he begins groveling for forgiveness in incoherent fast talk at her feet all while crying.
Lora tries to take the blame for her own death.
Grim is happy that Kraggi has snapped out of it.
Grim asks why Lora and Elshi are dragging Lomgren. They say they have no idea what’s wrong with him.
Lomgren starts to notice a feeling of being carried so he start to fidget.
Kraggi blubbers that he had ordered Ann to shoot.
Grim tells Kraggi that his guilt is making Lora feel bad.
Kraggi claims Lora’s death was his fault.
Grim hugs Kraggi and says Lora is sure to forgive him.

Nonah has not been wearing any clothes this entire time apparently.
At this point, only 15 minutes have passed since Ateschu cast the slow spell on Ann.

Lake

Freek dives in the Lake after Nonah with his clothes still on.
Freek is unsure if the party will still occur.
Nonah asks what to do about the party invitees who don’t know about what has happened at the lake.
Nonah moves Freek’s arms around her neck and smiles.
Freek hugs Nonah as he doesn’t know what to do about that issue.
Freek kisses Nonah’s neck.
Nonah is tickled by the kiss and changes forms again.
Freek’s clothes are rendered “inoperative”. They hug.
Freek turns a little red but returns the hug.
Aurora continues her tickling and has tasteful curtain thoughts.

Ann’s Mindscape

Ann-KF looks around for Zombie Ann and notes how the demons look like her (Ann-KF) other self.
Blue wisps cause the abominations and zombies to disappear as the background returns to the abyss.
Ann-KF shares Ann’s feeling of being tickled and giggles. Ann-KF is being pulled out of Ann’s Mind.
The wall rebuilds itself.
Ann-KF worries about having to start over again.
Ann’s eyes close and her face remains stoic.
The new graffiti is of exhausted hunched over Zombie Ann looking at whomever views the wall.
Strong wind blows towards Ann-KF. Ann-KF leaves.

Lake

Ann-KF takes the robe from Aurora.
Ann-KF tells Aurora that Ann still seems to demonize Aurora.
Lomgren arrives and sees Ann standing there. He runs over to her.
Ateschu explains that it will be another five minutes before the slowing spell wears off of Ann. He asks Grim not to kill him as he was trying to stop Ann from attacking the “Half-dragondemonthingy”.
Invisible stranger: “I can't have a story if she can't do anything...”
Aurora/Rainbow-KF responds to the stranger.
Ann-KF realizes the disembodied voice does not belong to Rose.

Townsquare

Lomgren tries to shake free from whatever is holding him.
Elshi drops Lomgren in surprise.
Lomgren returns to his senses and asks how he got here.
Elshi explains the situation.
Lomgren says he is worried about Ann.
Elshi says Ann is by the lake and then leads the group there.

The invisible stranger (TIS) is "Likal, storyseeker, at your service."
Description of Likal: He is quite handsome, although his fashion sense is questionable. He seems to have walked right out of a history book, with a grey and white renaissance style tunic and a rapier at his side.

The Lake

Ann’s knee slowly buckles her to the right. Gravity ensues.
Ateschu doesn’t want to admit Nonah is half demon.
Lomgren Catches Ann and eases her down.
The invisible stranger is startled and trips backwards crumpling the grass on which he lands.
Ann-KF warns the invisible stranger that she used to deal with invisible demons during the war. She pokes at him with her shaft of scythe.
The invisible stranger (hereafter referred to as: TIS) warns ANN-KF to watch where she’s poking.
Ann-KF expresses the sentiment that “poking things with sticks is rather amusing...”
TIS was only sneaking about cause of the people with weapons.
Ann-KF tells TIS to show himself “since we aren't going to hurt you.”
TIS expresses reserve about revealing himself to the person with the scythe.
Ann-KF disappears the scythe.
TIS wants to know where he is exactly.
Ann-KF tells that they are in Mossy Knoll.
Freek rests his head on Nonah’s shoulder. Nonah reciprocates the action.
Freek says he will always be there for Nonah.
Nonah wouldn’t let him go anyways.
Lora yells at Kraggi to stop feeling guilty and cheapening her choice. She tells him he has no right to make her feel guilty about him feeling guilty.
Kraggi stops banging his head into the ground once he realizes Lora isn’t dead. An eye for an eye is no longer required. He asks Lora if he can compensate her in someway.
Lora asks for some sandwiches to call it even.
Xaych leaves the lake in search of Krid.

Lake

Kraggi waves his hand in front of Ann to see if anybody is home.
Lomgren asks about Lora jumping in front of a bullet.
Lora confirms this then asks about “a bink pink slimy thing under a bed”.
Lomgren is horrified to learn that Lora died.
Likal, now visible, says Lora’s death was noble and asks who raised her (I assume he means from the dead).
Lora explains about death and respawning in the Town Square. She wonders is she has met Likal.
Likal denies having met Lora before now.
Rose chimes in that she is working to fix the clothing problem.
Lomgren wants to know who shot Lora.
Lora says Likal looks like a man she sees in her dreams. Realizing how that sounds she turns beet-red.
Likal laughs and says to Lora that he often gets that line.
Lomgren asks Likal “who are you?”
Lora blushes more and gives brief introductions to Likal and Lomgren then asks about Ann.
Likal introduces himself to Lomgren.
Lomgren introduces himself back and says he is worried about Ann as he holds her in his lap rocking and stroking her hair.
Lora jokes about tossing Ann into the lake to drown.
Ateschu introduces himself to Likal and asks if he has heard of the Valermi Clans.
Likal has never heard of the Valermi. He asks if someone will tell him where on the map (he takes from his bag) he is currently located.
Lomgren asks if Ateschu can dispel the slow spell on Ann earlier than its remaining three minutes.

Deathmanse

Nyx tests the reflective spell from earlier. It seems to work.

Aurora looks like Ann “except with a rat tail scaled near the end, four-inch-long eyelashes, randomly colored fur, one bat and one feathery wing, a row of spines along each forearm, and another crestlike row of spines starting on her forehead where her hair does and going straight back. The spines are stripey.”
Nonah “presently is about 2m tall or 6'6", has batlike wings, black-red patterned skin, a long barbed tail, claws...but no hooves, since she's not pure succubus. Oh, and the purest blue eyes.”

Town Square

Xiao finishes polishing/whittling his wand/staff. He sits straddling the wand and takes off flying into the air on it. He flies back to the lake and asks what’s going on.

Lake

Ann-KF tells Likal to give her a while and she can say where they are. She then sprouts bat wings and flies straight up.
Ateschu explains a bit about the Valermi. He then tells Lomgren he can’t end Ann’s slow spell early.
Lomgren wants to know what he can expect when the spell on Ann does wear off.
Ateschu says that Ann will be disoriented and try to move too fast for a while.
Lomgren thanks Ateschu for the warning.
Freek tells Nonah he wouldn’t want to (be let go). He kisses her.
Nonah returns the kiss. She notices people gathering around the lake.
Freek suggests the two of them go off somewhere.
Nonah disagrees and swims to the shore to see what’s going on.
Likal digs in his bag mentioning some of its contents before pulling out a strange map and asking if they are anywhere on it.
Ateschu does not recognize any of the map’s locations.
Aurora confirms they are not on Likal’s map. Aurora has been there once though.
Likal doubts Aurora and explains about how he fears he is victim of a teleportation gone horribly wrong.
Aurora asks if the Reaper of Likal’s locality is an unlikable fellow named Merton.
“Ann-KF is now just a speck in the sky above.”
Ateschu finds the idea that all cosmology crossings are unintentional and horror filled offensive, but he shrugs this off and asks to compare home-world cosmologies with Likal.
Nonah asks about Ann.
Lomgren tells Nonah the spell should wear off soon.
Sage stands up then takes the spell off Ann. Ann is unconscious.
Nonah is uncertain if she has met Lomgren before.
Lomgren introduces himself to Nonah then stands and picks up Ann in both his arms.
Nonah introduces herself as “the reason they were all running around with guns.”
Ann-KF flies back down.

“Grim is 5'6", a woman, and very hot. She has long brown hair, bright blue-green eyes, and a mischeivous smile. She is currently only wearing her underwear (not that she notices).”
“Freek is 6', a man, and somewhat tired-looking. He's also very wet, having jumped in the lake to swim with Nonah, and he's currently holding said half-demon. He's got 5-o'clock shadow and a reddish-brown moustache. His hair is brown, but it's that dark, wet brown color that one sees after a shower.”
“Atescu is 6'2", a man, and he seems to have a fire inside him. A passionate scholar, his emerald eyes eagerly reflect the world around him. He is clean-shaven, save for a chin-goatee and moustache (both red-brown), and his hair is long, brown, and curly.”
“Eshli is a brown-haired, blue-eyed 11-yr-old girl. She's currently wearing a t-shirt and jeans.”
Jodi’s backstory: “I was supposed to make weapons of mass destruction, but then I figured it'd be easier to just aid them with smaller-scale, but powerful, stuff....luckily, I stopped working once I realized how stupid the war was and escaped to come find this place...Like I told Ann, I found this place just by myself and only having a few rumors to go off of.”

The Rex

Jodi tells Squato a bit of her backstory.

Lake

Kraggi says hi to Likal. Kraggi then says “ANN! What did your left elg say to your right leg? NOTHING! They've never met!”
Aurora: “...don't talk about Ann like that.”
Kraggi keeps trying to wake Ann up in various ways.
Lomgren almost staggers at Nonah’s introduction.
Nonah fills Lomgren in on the brief points of what happened.
Quick retcon: “Chuck and Skip had stopped when kraggi stopped,and Skippt went inside of him and learned what happened, then went inside chuck to tell him.”
Lomgren has an information overload and decides to call off the party so as to take care of Ann.
Lora is disheartened to learn the party is cancelled.
Aurora suggests postponement as an alternative to party cancellation. She then offers to help carry Ann.
Kraggi keeps poking at Ann while worried.
Lomgren agrees to the postponement. He doesn’t want help carrying Ann. He tells Kraggi that the poking isn’t helping. Lomgren walks towards the houses.
Kraggi follows after them and continues to try everything he can think of to wake Ann.
Ann-KF returns and says it appears they are in the wastes in a similar universe to her own. She asks Kraggi where this place is.

Road: outside Lomgren and Ann’s houses

Ann is unresponsive to Kraggi.
Kraggi tells Ann-KF they are “near the wastes”. He continues poking nervously.
Lomgren tries to decide whether to enter his house or Ann’s.
Sage follow Lomgren and Kraggi. He offers to lend a hand “if something happens”.
Kraggi agrees to let Sage follow.
Lomgren rejects Sage’s offer and tells Kraggi the poking isn’t helping. He decides on going to his house. He tells the others that they can get Ann’s stuff from her house if they want to help. He asks Sage for contact information in case Ann wakes up.
Sage gives Lomgren a small crystal ball to contact him with. Sage leaves for the Lake.
Lomgren takes the ball with his tail and sets it on Ann. His front door was still open from when Elshi forgot to close it. He lays Ann on his guestroom bed. He takes a chair from his dining room and starts to read a book while keeping vigil over Ann.
Grim has been following Kraggi wearing only her underwear this entire time.

Lake

Aurora stays with Lika and tells him they are near the Teenage Wastes.
Ann-KF leaves for The Rex.
Lora is at a loss for what to do so she just watches what everyone else is doing.
Xiao begins to skip some rocks on the lake.
Nonah asks Lora if she feels better.
Likal puts away his useless map and asks if there is a Library.
Lora is fine save she is a little bummed about the lack of a party.
Ateschu volunteers his extensive library.
Likal asks if he can use Ateschu’s library to find out more about this place.
Ateschu tells Likal that his library is more about the multiverse than this place in particular.

The Rex

Ann-KF slumps in and orders some Fire.
JJA enters the Rex after looking around town. He orders the usual and gets an unsafe looking smoking beverage.

Lake

Likal asks Ateschu to lead the way.
The go to the Library and Ateschu gives Likal a tour.
Nonah is hungry and looks at Freek hungrily.
Lora tries to help make dinner plans. She asks Freek if he has food at his place.
Freek makes plans to feed five people.
Nonah is fine with these plans and guesses that “you silly groundwalkers” want her to put something on first.
Lora says she has no problem with Nonah’s look but that it did make Lomgren uncomfortable. Still the decision should probably be Freek’s.
Freek doesn’t mind either, but he says Ateschu might.
Nonah retrieves a brown woolen robe from the lake. She puts one arm around Freek and another around Lora as they walk off.
Lora finds it odd that Nonah’s tail (wrapped around Freek’s waist) is going through Freek’s clothes.
Freek puts his arm around Nonah and it goes through her clothes too.

Author Brother’s House

Likal begins reading immediately. He uses a piece of vanishing parchment to aid in translating texts when necessary.

The Rex

Squato pours Ann-KF a glass of his best Fire. He then talks to Jodi about war.
Ann-KF downs the fire. Her ears smoke and her hair bursts into flames. She asks for another.
Jodi asks Ann-KF whom she thinks might be Ann if she knows her hair is on fire.
JJA finishes his drinks, flies home and begins working on “the experiments”.
Squato explains that that effect gives the fire it’s kick and leaves no real effect on the person.
Ann-KF mentions that it is a non-alcoholic drink.

Lomgren’s House

Lomgren would look up from his book after every page to check on Ann. Each time there was no change he became downhearted.
Lomgren’s book was given to him by Freek earlier.

Bookstore

Keith hides on the rough shingle roof. He thinks Xaych is looking for him.
Xaych had returned to the truck “to watch some TV and retell what she saw down by the beach.”

Road: Lake to Author House

Nonah explains that it is due to a “runaway energy drain feedback cycle.”
Lora just assumes that explanation must make sense to someone who can understand it. She is embarrassed by naughty ideas and blushes.
Freek explains that ‘Runaway’ is an inadequate word for the situation.
Nonah asks what there is to eat.
Freek says they have a fully stocked fridge.
Nonah expresses her desire to have another duet with Lora like the one last night.
Lora is happy about the duet but sorry that Nonah heard her dangerous music from earlier in the day. She asks if Nonah is alright.
Freek asks about ‘the tune’.
Nonah says it was entrancing.
Freek is confused as to how a song could be ‘bad’.
Nonah explains that “It showed the seductive beauty of oblivion.”
Freek freaks a little in his head at this. They arrive at his place.

Author Brother’s House

Lora says that was the problem and comments on how nice the house looks.
Nonah repeat’s Lora’s sentiment of “Nice place...”. She seems to search for something.
Freek asks Nonah if she is looking for something.
Nonah, entirely too quickly: "Nothing!"
Freek offers the grand tour.
Nonah accepts this offer.
The tour will avoid Grim’s basement barring the introduction of massive amounts of cleaning fluid.
Likal decides he is stuck here. He copies a map of this place, grabs his hat, and heads for the door intent on exploring his new ‘home’.
Ateschu says goodbye to Likal and begins reading a good book.

Other Road: outside Lomgren’s House

Kraggi goes home.
Grim follows Kraggi.
Kraggi’s thoughts are with his daughter.

Deathmanse

Golden-furred Nyx throws Liz into the air with his tentacles intent on catching her.
Liz spreads her wings and hovers. She tells Nyx that the shiny look is good.
Nyx: "Well, you made me this way! But I can go out in the day now!" *reaches for Liz*
Liz doesn’t want to be on the ground anymore so she splits in half and zips in opposite directions telling Nyx to chase after.
Nyx chases the half of Liz that flew south.
