Biju is the Matoran word for demon. Though, demon also has a different meaning in the Matoran language. They were created by the Great Beings to balance the world with evil after Mata Nui took over. Of course, Mata Nui wasn't told about them so they were kept in a "Demon Realm" where the only exit was a hollow mountain in Demo Nui.

This is where the Biju will be listed, given information, and have their hosts listed.

Demon Kings

Shukaku, the one tailed Biju. Shukaku is made of sand and can manipulate sand to the point of being able to solidify the sand, or make the ground beneath him sand. He can also change his form to avoid any attack. Araga is his host.

Nibi, the two tailed Biju. Nibi is covered in fire and can manipulate it will. Her tails are made out of energy and can't be seen. Kura is her host.

Sanbi, the three tailed Biju. Sanbi manipulates water and stays in water to protect himslef, not knowning it could gather water molecules from the air. As you might have noticed, he isn't very smart... He is prone to rampages because he gets angry very easilly. Trez is his host.

Yonbi, the four tailed Biju. Yonbi can turn people to stone by spitting on them, cutting them, or biting them. He has limited flight and can run quite fast. Phil, the Toa of Mirrors is his host.

Gobi, the five tailed Biju. Gobi can control five elements, each one being represented by the color of his tails. He controls metal, fire, wood, water, and earth. Hakkan, Matoran of Many Colors is his host.

Rokubi, the six tailed Biju. Rokubi is composed of electricity and can manipulate electricity. It can turn into ball lighning to go faster. Due to being electricity, he eats a lot to have enough energy. Electric Storm is his host.

Mokobi, the seven tailed Biju. Mokobi can form his tails into one and "swim" in the air. It is strong and his teeth can rip through solid protodermis. Disousa is his host, though he hasn't obtained it yet.

Orochi, the 8 tailed Biju. Orochi can form his tails into one and can place or remove cursed seals. He can also breathe fire, take on a dragon-like form, and squeeze through almost any crack. Orochi is his host, though his true identity hasn't been revealed yet.

Kyubi, the nine tailed Biju. Kyubi is the strongest of the Demon Kings. He also has limitless energy and can produce a smell that would leave someone unable to use their nose for two days. Ikazu is his host, something Kyubi isn't too happy about...

Clawed Rulers

Nivaka, the two clawed Biju. Nivaka is fast and can camoflauge itself. It can throw pieces of his wings as projectiles. Nivawkman is his host.

Takuko, the four clawed Biju. Takuko's wings are tipped with claws andit can go so fast you can't see him. He can also turn into air. Takuko is the only official Biju that currently has no host.

Ramkata, the six clawed Biju. Takuko has two clawes on his tail, witch are used as rotating blades. It is known to be the perfect hunter Rahi. Johnuva is his host.

Naeturan, the ten clawed Biju. Naeturan can fly extremely fast and shoot powerful blasts from his mouth. It is the most powerful ofthe Clawed Rulers. Bioninja is his host.

Others

Gaorbi, the one horned Biju. Gaorbi controls plant life and fire, this gave him the nickname Wildfire and any one he defeated being called his tree. Mago is his host.

Trivia

• Shukaku, Nibi, Sanbi, and Kyubi are the only Biju based on the Naruto Biju.

• Gaorbi was made by Hak and won the Create a Biju Contest.

• Bioninja gave the idea of the Clawed Rulers.

• Nibi and Kyubi are very similar, as you might've noticed, the reason for this is because I said so.
