You step over and press the red button.
A glass cage pops up from the floor, trapping you, and a vapor fills it. You pass out instantly.
When you awaken, you're in a large bed. Not the one in Carol's bedroom. You blink your eyes and look around. Then you hear footsteps, and two naked women step into the room. One of them is slightly chubby, brunette, and has a soft, loving expression on her face that holds your eye. An aura of goodness seems to surround her. The other is a tall, leggy blonde with a rather hard expression. Her body is slim, with just enough curves to not be fashion-model anorexic, but she seems to be angry with the world. You estimate them both to be in their mid-20's.
"Tell me about yourselves," you say.
"I'm Meredith Tom," the brunette says, speaking with a quiet, gentle voice. "I moved around a lot as a child. My father was in the military, and he was a captain for a number of years. He got promoted right before they sent him into space... and he never came back."
"I'm Nicole Duncan," the blonde says, speaking in an assertive voice. "Meredith and I have been friends since the 8th grade. I'm kind of like her big sister. After she lost her father, I took her under my wing. I've lived around here all my life."
A captain who got promoted right before launch, you think. Wait just a minute... could it be...?
You look at Meredith. "Are you saying your father was..."
Meredith giggles slightly. "Yes, he was. Enough of that nonsense. We both want your body, so who gets you first?"
