You have been seeing your boyfriend Alexander since you were both around 15 years old. By his own admission, he is clingy, needy and possessive, but that has become a part of him you love. He can't seem to go 20 minutes without checking up on you, and it does feel good to be so loved.

You take your phone from your handbag and call him. While the phone rings, you think of what you want to say to him. You want him to come over and get under the covers with you while you watch that new TV show everyone's been going on about... and you want to do it with no pants on. You blush to yourself at the thought of it, barely noticing that he had picked up the phone.

"El..." You hear faintly.

"Alex?" You say back, instinctively holding your hand to the speaker protectively. "Are you there?"

There is no response for a few seconds, only static. "El... ple... they..." You barely make out anything over the sound of the static before the call ends.

You check your phone. 'No signal'.

You impatiently tap your fingers on the sink, considering calling him again. "He's fine." You tell yourself. "I'll call him in the car."

Take a look at yourself in the mirror and clean yourself up a bit.
