You turn to face the goblin rogue. She wears all black leather, covering her completely from her boots to her neck, as well as a mask with gaps for her ears, eyes and nose. She is about a head taller than Esgif so still significantly smaller than you, although her ears are peculiarly large.
The two rogues jab at each other, never landing a single blow. You immediately begin trying to strike her exposed nose, but she is quick enough to avoid both you and Esgif.
Esgif suddenly climbs upon a crate, giving her the higher ground. The goblin continues to parry both of your advances but appears to have trouble now that you two are further apart. This gives Esgif an idea. She jumps over the goblin and lands behind her with expert balance, continuing her knife attacks. Your foe tries to spin to defend against both of you, but to no avail, and as she comes around you strike her on the nose.
She falls to the ground just as a jet of yellow barely misses you and Esgif. Hovisk is also down, immobilized but not dead. The robed goblin seems to have their own flute-like device.
Between you and Esgif, the robed goblin falls quite easily. You use the same tactic and while their staff and flute are powerful they aren't very skilled at hand-to-hand combat.
With all four goblins out for the count, you and Esgif are safe. Unfortunately, one of those goblins is your ally.
Esgif crouches over Hovisk, studying him. "That gas was Florian spray-potion. It temporarily paralyses anyone who breathes it in concentration. We can bring him back with some sort of intense stimulus. I think I know what to do..."
You're not entirely sure you trust Esgif to be careful. Maybe you should find your own way.
