Serenity: head to the small forest

Looking to her right, Serenity sees trees reaching high as joggers run inside the shadowy woods. There were signs pointing out to exotic birds to be sighted inside the forest, it sounds like a peaceful and private time to herself. Serenity started to walk onto the gravel path slowly leaving the sights of hundreds of people, the noise of children playing dies down as Serenity now stands in front of the entrance of the woods. Serenity was in no condition at all to have a run, being clothed in just a blue dress and high heels was not exercise material; perhaps just sightseeing would give her time to think about life.
More joggers pass Serenity, heavily breathing as they start to make their way deeper in the forest. The sun beams passed the trees and leafs hitting Serenity on her bare arms and legs. Birds tweet and sing their little tunes giving Serenity a warm and happy feeling. Breathing in the fresh air of nature as she walked in grace, Serenity was soon stopped by a fork in the road with a sign planted in the middle.
To the left was the gravel path leading up a small slope that was leading in the rocky hills; where the joggers and push bikers mostly went.
To the right pointed to a lake that was located in the center of the forest; colorful fish were to be found there with a small waterfall.
They both sounded like beautiful places to go. Perhaps Serenity could have time for both if she wanted to.
