With no small effort, the two of you managed to drag the unconscious man into a full-size, walk-in cabinet in his office. With him a small trail of blood from his head.
"Thanks for covering me, ma'am. I thought I was in so much trouble." You wiped the sweat off your forehead, but then took another look at the man you knocked out and nudged him slightly with the tip of your shoe. "Are you sure he won't die in here?"
"You can let me worry about that." The woman looked at him coldly. She must have been really fed up with knowing everything he has done. "You need to get out of here. But don't let security catch you."
"But can't I just tell them what happened?"
"I'm afraid that won't do." She lamented. "They are completely aware of what he's been doing. His uncle has been doing the same thing for years. The two of them pays off the head of security to turn a blind eye."
"Then what should I do?"
"Get out of here as quickly as possible. Go to the police and let them know everything." Her voice suddenly becomes a whisper, as if someone might be listening in.
Just as you open your mouth to speak, the door swings open. Another man with a suit trots in with a stack of file in his hand.
"Mr. Clark, I would like to know..." He stopped at the realization of his boss's absence. He looked at the two of you blankly, then at the dried bloodstain on the floor. "What the...?"
"Go! Now!" The woman violently thrusts you towards the door with a shove. And you take off running without looking back.
"Hey! Hey! Stop!" The suit shouted after you. But that only made you run faster.
Up ahead, you see two burly men in security uniform sprinting toward you, their large bodies blockading the exit behind them. Get past them, and you can get out of the building. But can you do it?
