The night passes by peacefully, with only a few nightmares about the crash. And thanks to the shade the cave has to offer, you don't wake up from the bright sunlight, but instead by the sound of the waves calmly swooshing up against the cliffs. Judging by the sun outside it's late in the morning, and so you get some breakfast in the same way you got it the day before, which you then later eat outside the cave.
Beautiful weather, warm climate and tasteful food. This would have made a perfect place for vacation under different circumstances. The ocean horizon is completely devoid of other islands or rocks, which makes for an almost peaceful isolation from the rest of the world. No worries about school, the future or relationships. It's like this is your own corner of the world, and nobody else's.
After finishing your breakfast, you can't help but wonder if the island really is that isolated? After all, you've only barely left the shore, which you haven't even fully explored. What if the plane actually crashed in Hawaii, and there was a resort just a few hours away? Maybe you should explore the place?
Then again, if the island is deserted, there'd be no point in exploring. Maybe you should build some more on your shelter? Fill it up with food, build some protection in case of animals or even make some tools? Survival was a key objective, after all.
