An Embarrassing Adventure/toweled dozen

Entering the sauna room, you figure you might as well have the social experience of a sauna while you are here. You realize fairly quickly, however, that this is not a group of a dozen strangers, and is actually a group who all know each other.

Before you can apologize and leave, a man on one of the upper benches calls out to you, a little aggressively, "Do you want to sit in here?"

You stammer, "I-I'm sorry; there aren't any empty rooms and I thought-"

"Fine," he interrupts. "You can stay if you lose the towel."

Did you hear him right? Everyone here is wearing towels, man or woman. Is it because you are from outside their group?

He points at you and sternly commands, "Drop your towel!"

You can't go through with this, can you?
