You barely survived, and were rushed to the nearest hospital, lights flashing, Chris and Lois crying, Stewie confused, knowing you had failed them, then everything went black.
You awoke 2 days later in a hospital bed.
Peter: "Am I gonna be okay, doc?"
Doc: "It's hard to say. I'm not 100% sure, but your chances of survival are slim. You see, that bullet that was shot into you got stuck in your heart. Removing it could kill you, and leaving it could kill you. Time can only tell, Mr. Griffan, I'm sorry."
Peter: "alright doc, I aprecciate ya givin' it to me straight"
Doc: "My pleasure"
The doc walks out of the room and allows your family to come in.
Lois: "Peter, what did the doctor say?"
Peter: "I'd rather not talk about it"
Chris: "Mom? Is dad gonna die?"
Knowing she was lying, she said: "No, sweetee. Your father is just....hurt, that's all. Listen, can you take stewie and leave me and your father alone for a sec?"
Without a word, Chris got stewie, left the room, and closed the door.
Lois: "The doctor said you were gonna die, didn't he?"
Peter: "Well, he didn't say it, but he said my chances of survival were slim."
Lois: "I told you we shouldn't of gone to that battle tournament!"
Peter: "But it said in the paper that the winner gets a whole salami. *drooling* a salaaammiii!"
Lois: "Peter, first of all, you found that article in a newspaper that they were having a special on salami. Second, it doesn't even matter. We could lose you, and I don't know if i can survive without you."
Peter: "AHH! AHHHH!"
Lois: "PETER!"
Peter: "ah, look, Lois, I don't have much time. I love you."
Lois: "I love you too Pe....."
Everything went black.
