SEARCH THE APARTMENT
From Create Your Own Story
Since the woman seemed to know you, you reason it's more than likely there's something in her apartment that could clue you in on your identity. It's a large apartment, and it looks like a tornado has hit, but you figure you can go through it pretty thoroughly before she returns. You see some photo albums on a small table not too far away and decide to start by looking at them. You wander over, navigating around all the junk on the floor, when you realize something.
You have no idea what you look like.
Your can't even tell what color your hair is. There's no way you could recognize yourself in a photo! Before you could go through them you'd have to find a mirror. You look around, attempting to find one in the living room. There isn't one. You decide that the bathroom probably has one. You grab the top photo album and make your way to a bathroom at the back of the room. The light is off, and you are forced to find a light switch. When you manage to, it flickers and doesn't light well.
There is a mirror. You look to it. Injuries aside, you're not that bad. At some point someone probably thought you were handsome. You look younger than you thought you would, around 12 or 13. Your hair is a light brown tinted green and your eyes are brown. You commit your apearance to memory and sit on the toilet. The girl who lived in the apartment kept her toilet seat down.
You place the album in your lap and tentatively open it to the first page. There are three pictures. One is of a child who is most obviously the girl living the apartment. She's holding a basket and staring at the camera with a blank expression.
The second is of a man who appears to be in his twenties. He looks extremely excited. His pose reveals nothing significant, and the background had been cut out. He's wearing Victorian clothing.
The third was of the two together, though the girl appeared as who she had in her apartment. She was no longer a child. It looked posed, and there was no background.
You turn the page again, and there are only two pictures. The first of the two from before and one other person. Who is mostly definitely you! You look happy in it.
The next one is even stanger. It's of you and the man, and you're kissing him! He looks happy, but you don't. Did the guy like you? Had you been gay?
You turn through the rest of the pages. There're all blank. You begin wondering if you should leave, but you want to look through more of her stuff. You were even beginning to wonder if you should just stay in the woman's apartment and confront her when she returns.
