Horrified beyond imagining, you race for the door, whipping it open and calling for help. You run out into the midst of the small hamlet, screaming unintelligibly. Curious and oft-alarmed townsfolk rush out to meet you and find out where the fire is.
You manage a small explanation between shuddering breaths and someone goes for the only doctor in town. You look helplessly in the direction of your house. You are torn between wanting to be at your loyal friend's side and being too terrified to return. You see commotion at the doctor's house and feel relieved he is responding.
