An Unknown Sleeper
You are a 24-year-old computer analyst named Carl, and you went to bed Friday night as you did every night of your life. A single man with not much of a social life. Let's face it, there was no social life.
Your head hit the pillow at 10:05 p.m., and you were asleep by 10:10pm. You always slept soundly, but this night, and those that followed would be different.
At 3:33 am your cell phone rang. You are awakened by the annoying old telephone ring of your cell. You see the clock, 3:33, and then pick up your cell phone to see who in the world is calling you at this hour. It is not a number you recognize, 333-333-3333, but something inside you desires to answer the call from such a weird number.
What do you do?
Do you:
- IGNORE THE CALL, THINKING THAT ITS PROBABLY A WRONG NUMBER.
- ANSWER THE CALL BECAUSE OF THE GNAWING SENSE YOU HAVE THAT THIS NUMBER AT THIS TIME IS TOO STRANGE TO LET GO UNANSWERED!
