The darkness slips over you again, and when you awake, you can't move.

"This one didn't make it. Dump the body in the Pit."

"Yessir."

You can feel yourself being moved, and you struggle to wake up. A sudden jolt tells you that you've stopped. The ground beneath you tilts and you slide down into a fall. You finally wake up and see hundereds of slimy black rocks below you. Upon landing, you realize the "rocks" are really giant slugs. One bites into your arm and you feel it suck your blood. Others latch onto every inch of you. One bites into your head and removes your brain slowly. Not even the surgery from earlier compares to this much pain.
