After a short walk, you make your way to the park and sit down on the nearest unoccupied bench. It's sunny out, and the clear skies and cool breeze almost make it possible to forget why you came out here in the first place. Almost. The park's main trail runs right past where you're sitting, and you can see a sign for the lake pointing off in one direction, and a sign for the recreational area pointing in the other.
