With nothing left in the hallway, you take work-shoes onto your feet and the keys for the utility car, and wait in the driver's seat. The cooler morning air has yet to change with the sun just beginning to show.

A few minutes pass and end when a door to your house is closed. John, ready to be there for you, walks into the driveway where you are waiting. He comes around to the driver's door expecting to be the one to drive. You are not the "ass" in your family. That job is your brother's.

You let John take control by scooting over to the passenger's side. He climbs in with a grunt, and with a 'sniff' he gives his weight into the seat. He turns the ignition, and begins.
